The project covers two countries Egypt and Tunisia, which are at different stages in the STED process and with different objectives. After finishing the diagnostic stage in Egypt for two selected sectors (food processing and furniture) under the Work Plan 2014, the immediate objective of the project in this stage is to implement priority actions to narrow identified skills gaps in the food and furniture sectors. However, the Work Plan 2015-16 for Tunisia includes the sector selection for the STED activities, applying the STED approach in identifying the skills needs and gaps in the selected two export sectors as well as identifying priority actions on skills development to narrow those identified gaps. In collaboration with stakeholders, the project will also support the implementation of a number of these priority actions to strengthen skills development in the two sectors
